add post & packaging, rate A, if required ref: tr-1stpatwaf-0516 A 1st Pattern Black Wound Award - instigated by Hitler 22 May 1939 then replaced by the 2nd Pattern Wound Award depicting the more modern M35 helmet 1st Sept 1939 - although this award had an extemely short existance stocks lasted for some time after but is much rarer than its more modern counterpart, - often refered to as the Spanish Civil War Wound Award or Condor Legion Wound Award although only 182 black awards and 1 silver award were awarded to Civil War Veterans - die struck tombak construction with brass pin - excellent condition with normal wear to the original paint finish. |
