  • SA Dagger - 1933 pattern transitional period dagger - Maker mark "EICKHORN" 1938 RZM mark M7/66 for Carl Eickhorn Solingen, MsCARR rarity level 1 (1 being the most common and 10 the most rare) - plated fittings - scabbard with original finish.

    The blade is original with some age staining and some cross graining still evident on both sides - crack free grip - very slight bubbling to the crossguard - undented scabbard with original enamelled finish in pristine condition - scabbard ball is undamaged. - any inspection welcome, viewing recommended.

    The NSKK (Nationalsozialistisches Kraftfahrkorps / National Socialist Motor Corps) 1931 to 1945, originally part of the SA becoming independant in 1935 providing transport and back up supporting the troops and armed forces.

    An all original - grip itself is crack free - the blade is original and undamaged with some age staining - unusually the scabbard ball is undamaged and no dents to the scabbard - paintwork to the scabbard has been renovated - any inspection welcome

    SS Dagger 1933 Pattern including black 3 part hanger - dagger dated 1938 - a transitional period dagger bearing both the makers mark and the RZM mark - rear of the blade marked "RZM 941/38SS" for maker "Eickhorn" of Solingen, the front of the blade inscribed with the SS motto "Meine Ehre Heist Treue" (My honour is called loyalty) - main hanger part stamped "RZM M5/303", D-ring stamped "RZM M5/93" and leather marked "RZM L2/5/37"

    The front of the blade inscribed with the SS motto "Meine Ehre Heist Treue" (My honour is called loyalty)

    Solid Nickle fittings to the dagger with the usual plated steel fittings to the scabbard.

    To qualify for wearing the chained version of this dagger it was necessary to be an officer or to have at least 3 years service as an enlisted man.

    The dagger is totally original - The scabbard has suffered some corrosion at some stage and has been reblued in accordance with its original finish - The fittings have been replated with some evidence of pitting remaining. Blade in excellent condition, still retaining much of its original cross graining - Grip in excellent condition - one very minor dent to rear of scabbard - any inspection welcome and viewing recommended.

    Musolini's GIL (Gloventu Italiana del Littorio - Fascist Organisation of Youth) was instigated in 1925 and terminated with the downfall of Musolini and his fascist government in 1943 - similar to the Hitler Youth Organisation in Third Reich Germany

    Original finish - Excellent undamaged condition - Both red gem inset eyes still intact

  • WW2 Italian Fascist Leader MVSN M-1937 Dagger - Instigated 1937 - Cast Aluminium Hilt in the shape of the head of the Roman Eagle with black inset bakelite grip

    The symbol set into the black bakelite grip is the 'Roman Fasces' the symbol of authority of the Roman Empire (the Roman Fasces was seen as a tool of Justice and was used for punishing criminals - and it is where the term 'Fascist' originated from)

    These daggers were worn by officers of the Milizia Volontaria per la Sicurezza Nationale (Volunteer Militia for National Security) commonly known as the "Black Shirts".

    Outstanding totally original condition - all finishes intact and undamaged

  • A classic untampered with example of a WW2 Japanese Army NCO's Shin-Gunto Sword Type 95 - 1935 pattern - All original paint finish - Cast Aluminium hilt (Tsuka) original, worn, red/brown paint finish - Ornate brass guard (Tsuba) dates this sword from 1938 to mid 1941 as steel Tsubas replaced the brass in 1941 - Steel pommel loop - Undented steel scabbard (Saya) with original olive green paint finish

    Matching serial numbers (28788) on both the blade and saya - Copper Fuchi bearing the stamp of the Kokura Arsenal

    Excellent and beautifully aged condition throughout. Dark steel patina to exposed parts. Any inspection welcome.

  • A WW2 Surrender Japanese Army Officer's Shin-Gunto Sword 1935 pattern - original wrapping (Ito) - steel scabbard (Saya) original brown painted finish - Early wartime mounts - remains of the original tassle included but missing the end

    Believed to be an old family blade circa 1790 - nice Tempered line (Hamon) and pronounced grain (Hada) clearly visible

    Includes letter granting Major F.W. Yates permission to be in possession of the sword as a War Trophy returning from Singapore dated 26 Jan 1946
