  • SS Dagger 1933 Pattern - dated "1940" - SS RZM Mark "941/40/SS" for maker "Carl Eickhorn" of Solingen to the reverse of the blade - obverse of the blade inscribed with the usual SS motto "Meine Ehre Heist Treue" (My honour is called loyalty) - plated fittings - black enamelled scabbard - Ebony grip

    Dagger has not been tampered with - Dent free scabbard with 90% of the original enamelled finish intact and uncleaned fittings - excellent undamaged blade with much of the cross graining still evident and a little age staining in a few places - Cross guard has some loss of plating through wear - grip generally in good condition the eagle and SS runes are original and have not been interfered with - Any inspection welcome and viewing recommended

    Instigated in 1934, the design copied from the sword - This early model was often refered to as the "Flier's Dagger" - A very different second model dagger was introduced in 1937, although flying enlisted pilots and crew members could continue to wear this pattern

  • A Third Reich DLV dagger - scabbard throat engraved with member's name "W. DOLBERG" - dagger maker marked "SMF" for Stocker & Co. of Solingen - still retaining it's original leather hanger - stamped "K" on the crossguard, thought to be the mark of the foundry company "KREBS" - throat of the scabbard stamped with the DLV logo - the earlier DLV scabbard was leather covered, as this example is, unlike the later NSFK dagger which had a painted, simulated leather effect - An early example of this dagger - The DLV was formed in 1933 and later changed to the NSFK in 1937, both organisations were formed to provide pre-militay training for potential, future members of the Luftwaffe - There was only one model of this dagger authorised for wear by all ranks - The scabbard and grip are wrapped in blue morocco leather with solid cupronickel fittings.

    In untampered with, original condition and with a lovely aged patina - leather on grip and scabbard in 1st class condition - original leather hanger in excellent condition - undamaged scabbard with dent free ball at the tip

    This dagger was hung on a wall for many years and has not been dismantled the blade is undamaged with some minor age staining and much of the cross graining remaining - crack free grip - very slight bubbling to the plated fittings - scabbard is undented and in excellent condition with it's original enamelled finish - scabbard ball is undamaged - any inspection welcome

    The dagger hasn't been dismantled or cleaned and retains it's excellent fit - the blade is all original with the much of cross graining remaining - crack free grip - scabbard retains it's original early 'anodised' finish in used condition with nice wear to the rear where it has rubbed against the wearer - scabbard tip ball is intact and undented - any inspection welcome, viewing recommended

  • Early SA 1933 pattern honour dagger with Rohm's dedication to the reverse of the blade, only Rohm's name having been removed from the dedication under Hitler's orders following the "Night of the Long Knives" 30 June 1934 and Rohm's subsequent murder - maker marked "S.M.F." for Stocker & Co. of Solingen MsCARR rarity level 5 (1 being the most common and 10 the most rare) - solid cupronickel fittings - the Rohm inscription and early anodised scabbard identify that this dagger dates from 1933/34

    An uncleaned and untampered with example - Blade is in outstanding, superb condition retaining most of the original cross graining on both sides, the inscriptions to the obverse and reverse are crisp and clear and unusually retain their original black finish indicating the blade not having been polished - solid cupronickel cross guards and fittings in excellent condition - scabbard anodised finish is the original finish with some wear where it has rubbed against it's wearer - nicely grained undamaged grip - scabbard ball tip has survived without being flattened just a couple of minor hardly noticable marks - any inspection welcome, viewing recommended
