    German Youth Achievement Award (Deutches Jungvolk Leistungsabzeiehen) - RZM marked "M1/120" for maker Wilhelm Deumer of Ludenscheid - This award introduced 26 September 1935 for boys aged between 10 to 14 having passed qualifying tests. - Unlike the Hitler Youth Award that was awarded in 3 classes, Silver, Bronze and Black the DJ award only had a single class of Silver apart from during a brief period only in 1935 when a Black Class was available

  • TeNo (Technical Emergency Service / Technische Nothilfe) Honour Award/Badge - A rare award although it isn't known how many were isssued all badges were individually numbered with the corresponding number on the base of the box, this one "2904" - Material: Enamelled Bronze - Maker marked "Wilhelm Fohner" of Pforzheim and "Ges. Gesch."

    Introduced 2 April 1935 - Awarded for exceptional service to members who joined between 1919 and 1923 - TeNo was eventually absorbed into the SS

    The use of the Third Reich Eagle with Swastika was forbidden by the Olymics Committee on all medals and badges to participants, hence only medals awarded to administratores and commemorative medallions etc. bore the symbol of the Third Reich.

  • Luftwaffe Ant-Aircraft Flak Battle Award (Flak-Kampfabzeichen de Luftwaffe) - Material: zinc alloy body, with applied finish - War period issue

    This award first instituted on 10 Jan 1941 - only awarded in this single grade - awarded to servicemen of the Flak Artillery who distinguished themselves in action against enemy air or ground attacks. Gun crews required 16 points for this award, 4 points for bringing down an enemy aircraft etc. - Worn on left breast pocket of uniform pocket.

    In first class condition with the card insert from it's original box of issue (we do not have the outer part of the box)

    Award instigated by Hitler on the 1st Sept 1939, depicting the M35 helmet and swastika - awarded for being wounded three or four times

    excellent used undamaged condition, retaining most of it's original silver finish, in its original nicely aged box.
