General Assault Award - Material: white alloy with silver finish, steel pin - concave obverse - Instituted in June 1940 and awarded to personnel of the German Army, Waffen SS and Ordnungspolizei for supporting Infantry attacks while not part of an Infantry unit themselves and hence not entitled to the Infantry Assault Award.

    as worn on the left tunic pocket - the tank in the centre is a 'Panzerkampfwagen IV' - the Bronze Class was introduced later than the Silver Class to recognize the crews of armoured vehicles other than tanks

    as worn on the left tunic pocket - the tank in the centre is a 'Panzerkampfwagen IV' - the Bronze Class was introduced later than the Silver Class to recognize the crews of armoured vehicles other than tanks

    Missing hook suitable for restoration by someone with the necessary skills - no other damage - nice sharp crisp detail - the original bronze finish remaining in the recesses and sommany of the surfaces but on the high spots worn away

    German Youth Achievement Award (Deutches Jungvolk Leistungsabzeiehen) - RZM marked "M1/120" for maker Wilhelm Deumer of Ludenscheid - This award introduced 26 September 1935 for boys aged between 10 to 14 having passed qualifying tests. - Unlike the Hitler Youth Award that was awarded in 3 classes, Silver, Bronze and Black the DJ award only had a single class of Silver apart from during a brief period only in 1935 when a Black Class was available

  • TeNo (Technical Emergency Service / Technische Nothilfe) Honour Award/Badge - A rare award although it isn't known how many were isssued all badges were individually numbered with the corresponding number on the base of the box, this one "2904" - Material: Enamelled Bronze - Maker marked "Wilhelm Fohner" of Pforzheim and "Ges. Gesch."

    Introduced 2 April 1935 - Awarded for exceptional service to members who joined between 1919 and 1923 - TeNo was eventually absorbed into the SS

    The use of the Third Reich Eagle with Swastika was forbidden by the Olymics Committee on all medals and badges to participants, hence only medals awarded to administratores and commemorative medallions etc. bore the symbol of the Third Reich.

    The award first introduced in a shorter version in May 1941 this longer version in Jan 1943 - awarded for service on fast attack craft (patrol or torpedo boats) if sevice included an outstandingly successful sortie, or being wounded in action, a total of 12 sorties, or oustanding leadership.   • Luftwaffe Ant-Aircraft Flak Battle Award (Flak-Kampfabzeichen de Luftwaffe) - Material: zinc alloy body, with applied finish - War period issue

    This award first instituted on 10 Jan 1941 - only awarded in this single grade - awarded to servicemen of the Flak Artillery who distinguished themselves in action against enemy air or ground attacks. Gun crews required 16 points for this award, 4 points for bringing down an enemy aircraft etc. - Worn on left breast pocket of uniform pocket.

    In first class condition with the card insert from it's original box of issue (we do not have the outer part of the box)

  • A 1st Pattern Black Wound Award - instigated by Hitler 22 May 1939 then replaced by the 2nd Pattern Wound Award depicting the more modern M35 helmet 1st Sept 1939 - although this award had an extemely short existance stocks lasted for some time after but is much rarer than its more modern counterpart, - often refered to as the Spanish Civil War Wound Award or Condor Legion Wound Award although only 182 black awards and 1 silver award were awarded to Civil War Veterans - die struck tombak construction with brass pin - excellent condition with normal wear to the original paint finish.

    excellent undamaged condition, protected by it's box and retaining virtually all of it's original gold finish.
