  • A Third Reich Olympic Commemorative Medallion (Deutsche Olympia-Ehrenzeichen) - 1936

    The use of the Third Reich Eagle with Swastika was forbidden by the Olymics Committee on all medals and badges to participants, hence only medals awarded to administratores and commemorative medallions etc. bore the symbol of the Third Reich.

  • Panzer Assault Silver Award - maker marked for "Konigliches Munzamt" of Munchen - semi dished - Zinc based alloy body with brass pin and hinge.

    Worn on the left tunic pocket. The tank in the centre is a 'Panzerkampfwagen IV'.

    The Silver Award was established 20 Dec 1939 and was awarded to tank commanders, gunners and radio operators to recognize the achievements of Panzer (Tank) personnel who took part in armoured assaults. Later a Bronze Class was introduced to recognize the crews of armoured vehicles other than tanks.

    Excellent original undamaged used condition.

    E-Boat Award 2nd pattern - Material: zinc alloy body, with applied finish.

    The award first introduced in a shorter version in May 1941 this longer version in Jan 1943 - awarded for service on fast attack craft (patrol or torpedo boats) if sevice included an outstandingly successful sortie, or being wounded in action, a total of 12 sorties, or oustanding leadership. Worn on left breast pocket of uniform pocket.

    Used aged but undamaged good condition.

  • Luftwaffe Ant-Aircraft Flak Battle Award (Flak-Kampfabzeichen de Luftwaffe) - Material: zinc alloy body, with applied finish - War period issue

    This award first instituted on 10 Jan 1941 - only awarded in this single grade - awarded to servicemen of the Flak Artillery who distinguished themselves in action against enemy air or ground attacks. Gun crews required 16 points for this award, 4 points for bringing down an enemy aircraft etc. - Worn on left breast pocket of uniform pocket.

    In first class condition with the card insert from it's original box of issue (we do not have the outer part of the box)

    German Youth Achievement Award (Deutches Jungvolk Leistungsabzeiehen) - RZM marked "M1/120" for maker Wilhelm Deumer of Ludenscheid - This award introduced 26 September 1935 for boys aged between 10 to 14 having passed qualifying tests. - Unlike the Hitler Youth Award that was awarded in 3 classes, Silver, Bronze and Black the DJ award only had a single class of Silver apart from during a brief period only in 1935 when a Black Class was available

    An original award in used undamaged condition.

  • A 1st Pattern Black Wound Award - instigated by Hitler 22 May 1939 then replaced by the 2nd Pattern Wound Award depicting the more modern M35 helmet 1st Sept 1939 - although this award had an extemely short existance stocks lasted for some time after but is much rarer than its more modern counterpart, - often refered to as the Spanish Civil War Wound Award or Condor Legion Wound Award although only 182 black awards and 1 silver award were awarded to Civil War Veterans - die struck tombak construction with brass pin - excellent condition with normal wear to the original paint finish.

    DRL (Deutscher Reichsbund fur Leibesubungen) Sports Award Bronze Class - maker marked "Fritz Kohm" of Pforzheim - Material: bronze alloy body with brass pin and hinge.

    The DRL were the Third Reich organisation for sports and physical education in Nazi Germany formed in 1934, HQ in Berlin - partially aimed at demonstrating Aryan physical superiority and the exclusion of athletes of Jewish origin from all sporting events. School graduation, University admission and certain jobs depended upon sucessful DRL certification.

    Excellent original condition.
