  • A Third Reich NSDAP 10 Year Service Medal - unused - including minature and complete with it's original box - box maker marked "RZM M1/34" for Karl Wurster of Markneukirchen - first awarded on 30 Jan 1940 - original ribbon still with it's clip - Material: Bronze

    These medals were awarded to members of the NSDAP (Nazi Party) for 10 years unbroken service, years from 1925 to 33 (Time of Struggle - Kampfzeit) counted as double.

    All in excellent unused condition - the medal retains all of its original finish the box having kept the medal in exceptional condition - repair to the right hand side of lid of box, all but invisible.

  • 3rd Reich SS 4 Year Long Service Medal in its original award box with intact lining and original ribbon with a length of period spare ribbon.

    This medal was only awarded to NCO's not officers and therefore is thought to be harder to find than the 8year long service medal

    The medal itself is in excellent condition. The ribbon attached to the medal is worn and faded although a length of unused ribbon was in the box and is included (see 'More Images'). The box is intact but is shows wear comsenurate with its age and handling

  • A Third Reich Olympic Medal (Deutsche Olympia-Ehrenzeichen) complete with it's original box - 1936 - origial ribbon still with it's clip - the medal retains most of it's original silvered finish - the box has kept the medal in exceptional condition

    These medals were awarded not to the participants but to the administrators of the games, only 3,364 were awarded. The use of the Third Reich Eagle with Swastika was forbidden by the Olymics Committee on all medals and badges to participants, hence only these medals 1st and 2nd class awarded to administratores bore the symbol of the Third Reich.

  • An original Spanish Blue Division Medal (Division Espanola de Voluntatios) - award established 3 Jan 1944 - material: Zinc alloy with a bronze wash - original ribbon, similar to the Iron Cross ribbon but with an additional yellow stripe to represent the Spanish flag - maker marked "1" for Deschler und Sohn of Munchen (Munich), the only maker of this award - obverse of the design includes the Falang and the Iron Cross Oak leaves

    The Spanish Blue Division (Division Espanola de Voluntatios) an Infantry Unit of Spanish Volunteers totalling 18,104 men, named 'Blue' because of their blue shirts in their on-leave uniform, were the only component in the Third Reich Army (Heer) to be awarded a medal of their own, commissioned by Hitler after their effectiveness in impeeding the advance of the Red Army

  • A First Class (Silver) War Merit Cross with Swords - maker marked L/18 for maker B.H. Mayer, Pforzhiem - material plated white metal.

    Award first instituted 18 October 1939, awarded for deeds which did not merit the Iron Cross.

    When awarded with Swords it was given for military merit other than in battle, and for bravery other than in the front line.

    One of the several new awards created by Hitler, initially only in 2 classes 1st and 2nd.

    To be awarded the 1st class it was necessary to have already been awarded the 2nd class unless as in rare cases awarded simultaneously.

    Used, undamaged condition with some ageing and wear, as we like them.
